Soldering

Soldering wires onto solderpads can look intimidating, so the Boron Canandgyro has been designed to make this as easy as possible. Please refer to the tutorial on the Helium page (Soldering) for instructions on soldering. The pads are the same size, though please note the order of the pads is different.

The case screw on the underside of the gyro will need to be removed before accessing the solderpads. A Phillips #1 bit should be used to remove this screw. Be careful not to overtighten it when replacing it, as it is a plastic-tapping screw.
